Update:

Once again our girl Luz has done again. Last month she was selected as the New York State Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year. Sometime in July She will compete for the North East Region and Puerto Rico for more scholarship money and a chance to win the Nation Award. With winnig the next step she can also meet Presdient Barack Obama. Lets show her our support. So far she has earned $11,000.00 in scholarship money and an IPAD for school.

Luz Negron after being selected as the Smilow Clubhouse Youth of The Year is now the Winner of The Madison Youth of the Year. She beat out three other candidates from the Columbus, Navy Yard and Thomas Murphy Clubhouses. Good Luck to Luz as she now sets her sights on the New York State Youth of the Year event. The Youth of the Year event is a national Boys & Girls Club event that pits all of the best youth from around the country to see which individual benefited from their BGCA experience.
